To become an Invention Masters’ supplier you must meet the following criteria:

Required:

□       You have a working invention that is ready for manufacturing

□       Only products that are capable of having an infomercial in foreign markets are eligible. Products that have an existing infomercial are eligible. US infomercials are eligible. If you have an infomercial in the “can” we will use that for demonstration purposes.

□       You have a manufacturer that can deliver your product in a window of 60-90 days. JIT is OK if you meet the window.

o       China manufacturers must have already given you pricing and sample product, with a delivery window that will happen upon payment.

o       Quality checks with manufacturer have been completed.

o       Quantities that match our vendors’ first order.

□       You have capital to match your manufacturing costs for trial. The profit will come from our distributors’ held in escrow until product delivery (contract payment to you upon delivery), held in escrow until FOB delivery in foreign port. (E.g. $0.50 manufacturing cost, $0.75 contract for 10,000 units. Held in escrow the $1.25 which will cover manufacturing and give you working capital.) If you negotiate 30 days payment to your manufacturer this will cover your costs. Another way of funding is a short term loan needed to cover manufacturing costs until delivery when escrow funds will be released.

□       Your product must have packaging ready to go.

□       Your product must have marketing material that clearly explains the product.

□       Instructions must be included

□       You must provide us a fully packaged quality sample product (four each).

□       Products must be mass marketable (consumer ready, consumer appropriate)

□       You must pass due diligence (see below)

Optional:

□       No other corporate structure is necessary. No US patents are necessary but you assume all foreign risks that can be mitigated via international contractual arrangements. You should do your normal US patent process for your own US roll-out, however, that is not necessary for our purposes. We strongly suggest you file a patent: Filing a patent is under $600 (completing a patent and paying an attorney will be much more).  http://www.uspto.gov/web/patents/howtopat.htm

□       Infomercials that would be high risk in the US because of FDA/FTA requirements may not be an issue with our network.

□       While your US pricing may be higher you must provide second and third world pricing that is mass-market appropriate. Our clients order first orders in terms of 10,000 units and may order millions of products. Label changes for languages will be our vendor’s responsibilities.

□       Existing products in US markets are eligible

□       Existing products in international markets are eligible but must meet our financial institution requirements for overseas transfers of funds for escrow.

□       Our vendors may ask for private label agreements.

□       Shipping costs from manufacturer port-of-call to our vendor’s port-of-call will need to be estimated in the price. You should know the weight of your products.
